If you're looking for a vacation that will include some outdoor activities, Aurora, Colorado, is a great place to start. The third largest city in Colorado, Aurora is well-known for its artistic displays, cultural cuisine, and outdoor leisure opportunities. It also houses Aurora International Airport. The city's ambiance is very pleasant. Aurora residents enjoy sailing, golfing, fast-pitch softball, live theater, and painting. If you want to find out more about Aurora, you can contact the city's tourism office to learn more about its attractions and operations.

The city is home to more than 100 restaurants, including a world-famous restaurant. There are many types of food and drinks available in Aurora, so you can always find a new flavor. If you want to go a little farther, Denver is nearby, and there are several great nightlife options, as well. For a night out on the town, you can visit the theater, bars, and clubs in nearby Denver. However, if you prefer to stay in Aurora, you can always visit nearby cities for more entertainment options. The city is also home to 26 historic sites, including the Gully Homestead from 1870, the Victorian Centennial House, the privately owned American War Mothers National Memorial Home, the Art Deco KOA Building, and the DeLaney Round Barn.

One of these historic sites is the Delaney Round Barn, which was once a grain silo but was later converted into a two-story cow barn. Today, the barn houses an exhibit on the history of Aurora's dairy farming industry. The town's first high school was designed in Art Deco style, and named after the founder of the Aurora Public School district, William Smith. Smith served on the school board as treasurer for 50 years, making him the longest serving school board officer in Colorado. The Smith building is now known as Aurora West College Preparatory Academy, and continues to serve the city. There are many notable buildings in Aurora, so it is worth visiting. There are also many historical museums in the city.

For beer enthusiasts, there is the Aurora Brewing Company, built in 2005 on the ruins of an old brewing supply shop. It produces around 12,000 barrels of beer a year and sells it to craft bars across the state. The brewery's tipples are legendary, and include a caramel-infused Hefeweizen, a rust-coloured Amber Ale, a psychedelic-style beer named Hop Abomination, and Raspberry Red, an American-style brew with distinctive Chinook hops. If you enjoy nature, you'll want to visit the Aurora Wildlife Center, which manages a bird feeding station. There, you can observe American kestrels, hawks, and owls, and even rare species of owl. Despite the city's crowded streets, the Aurora Wildlife Center is a pristine, well-maintained oasis of wilderness. The area is crisscrossed by hiking trails and bridal paths.
