The City of Aurora Colorado is a home rule municipality that is a part of Arapahoe County, Adams County, and Douglas County. The population is approximately 336,035 people. Of these, about 47,720 people live in Arapahoe County, and 2,506 live in the neighboring county of Douglas County. The city is located in northern Denver, close to the border with Wyoming.
